Good day lovelies,

All is well in my neck of the woods and I hope it is for you as well. I haven't posted in a little over a week. I am currently faced with a new challenge in school with a course load of five classes, so I will be posting once a week if my schedule allows me to! Once I get a chance to increase my posting days, I will!

Today I wanted to keep it classy, sophisticated but with a little sex appeal. I love playing with my style and stepping out my comfort zone. After all that's what fashion is all about! I also have found a complete obsession with the color black... Coco Chanel said it best “Women think of all colors except the absence of color. I have said that black has it all. White too. Their beauty is absolute. It is the perfect harmony.”- CoCo Chanel  I agree Completely!

The definition of a blazer according to the dictionary is

"a lightweight jacket, typically solid-colored, often worn as part of a uniform by members of a club, sports team, or school."

 

Blazers to me are magical pieces of garment. Its a way to dress up without dressing up, if you get what I mean! Blazers can add sophistication to your assemble in a split second Every fall I update my blazer collection. I thrift most of them, because that's where you are able to find exceptional ones. The type of blazer that's gives you edge with a elegant flare and best of all vintage goodness!

 

I am in the middle of final week and then I will have a well needed brake for a week.. whoooppii! I wore this outfit to presentation day for my Business Etiquette and Negotiation class. The color of the blazer is very loud but I wore it with confidence.  I love statement pieces and even better, I enjoy making statements, because everyday is a fashion show and the world is my runway!

I'm here with a bonus post. I went to a Birthday party for my mothers friend and I decided to wear a dress I've had for a while. This dress was purchased back in March with the intention on wearing it to my mothers birthday party, but it did not fit! I purchased it all the way from London, United Kingdom. I decided to keep it, given the fact I'm on a personal weight loss journey. I'm pleased  that I'm now able  fit into this dress, because its a confirmation that " If you want something bad enough you can achieve it". I'm still on this journey with the intention of not only weight loss but improving my overall energy because that's the key to a healthy life.... self love and confidence.

"A Spooktackular Flare of Colors"

I got bite by the Halloween bug! I'm not much of a costume wearing person, so I just took the Halloween colors and put my own spin on it. I took my daughter trick or treating and she had so much fun. She was a bubble gum fairy! Super cute! In order to be a great parent you have to become a kid again. I'm her best friend as she is mines also!

I wore a polka dot long sleeve shirt with a orange flare skirt. I wanted to balance the spook oriented colors, so I added a nude color bootie. I'm not much of a hat person but I love this hat. It's my fall go to hat whenever I want to add a little edge.

"Shopaholic Diaries"

My favorite store opened in my favorite mall, so I went shopping! H&M is now in the Mall of Millennia. The grand opening was Thursday and I have been in there all weekend... yes Thursday, Friday, and Saturday! I'm a shopaholic and no I don't need a cure! I wore this casual attire to shop and have a little me time.

"Alter Ego"

Fashion is all about taking risks. I'm becoming one with myself and experimenting a little out of my comfort zone. Yeahhh! I decided to wear a black and white trouser with a crop faux leather. I added a pop of color for a sassy touch!

Take chances, take a lot of them. Because honestly, no matter where you end and with whom, it always ends up just the way it should be. Your mistakes make you who you are. You learn and grow with each choice you make. Everything is worth it. Say how you feel, always. Be you, and be okay with it.
