Face To Face with Black and White (Part 2 of Reflections of 2014)

Yves Saint Laurent   This quote speaks to me deeply, because this year have been a year of transformation for me personally. Loving yourself during the process is very important. My diet has improved and also learning the truth to healthy living " Its not eat less, but eat better", has helped immensely. Finding what truly works for you as an individual is the key to becoming the better ":YOU'. My overall fashion sense continues to evolve, which leads me to the launch of my image consultant business in 2015. I want to help others realize their own beauty and most of all uplift their level of confidence.

  Hope all is well. I've been missing for some time now.... two months to be exact. Life has been a bit busy including working at Saks Fifth Avenue Off Fifth (Seasonal) and my studies for my MBA. That's my life in a nut shell. I have captured a collection of fine ootd's and also ootn's. I just did not have the time to blog them. As we approach the new year in  one day I decided to document them all at once in a mini series! The quote of this series is  "I like my money right where I can see it: hanging in my closet." "Happiness.... Stripes & Tings!"

      Hi Lovelies, Hope your having a fantastic Sunday so far. I didn't make it to church today,but I'm always  praising my God. He is so good to me and worthy of all great things. Even when things look bleak, I will praise him in the hall way until a door opens up! Speaking of doors opening up, I have been to interviews after interview since Tuesday. I believe it was birthday luck, given the fact I officially turned 29 years old on October 21! Yayyy, one more year until the big "30".... geesh! I'm getting up there! The interviews I have been to has was an extraordinary experience and I look forward to getting a offer very, very soon! I promise I will celebrate with my readers, especially if its the one my hearts desire.  I will be over the moon! So stay tune... This outfit is one of my interview attire, and I had two interviews in that one day, so I switch up some accessories to create another look. I didn't get the chance to capture the changed outfit, but I can assure you it was fashionable! I added green pumps and a candy colored, fun necklace. Very fun and suitable for the place I was interviewing for. The striped, pencil skirt fit liked a glove and created a showcase of my hips! I have a passion for surplice blouses, and I have one in just about every color!

"Chic Diaries"

Two post in one day... that's a new record for the blog! This dress was styled sometime last year and I decided glam it up with a blazer. The quickest way to look effortless chic is to leave your arms out!  Kim Kardashian is a fan of this style.   I totally understand,  after all we do share the same birthday!   The blazer/coat over the shoulder gives a queen of fashion vibe.  Yes! My birthday is in two weeks. I have no clue what I will be doing,  given the fact I've just been so busy over the past few weeks. Sigh!!! Hope the mood changes!  LEOPARD PRINT PUMPS... OLD NAVY
