I'm from a generation of stylish women. My grandmother is my idol, because I grew up watching her sense of style. I've always believed its in my genes to carry my self well. If not I would have been disappointing her and my late- great grandmother as well!
Fashion is art and I believe style is a platform used to interpret my personal view point of fashion. I'm a very creative individual and my mind is always running wild with new ideas of expressing myself. One day I may be feeling a little like Marilyn Monroe, or even Coco Chanel then I usually channel these fashion icons with my personal touch of style. My favorite time period of fashion is the 1940's to 1950's. This time period includes Christian Dior's New Look, and the Pin Up Look. These looks were chic, classy, and had tasteful sex appeal all at once.
I'm a aspiring fashion buyer and image consultant. I will be receiving my Bachelor of Science degree in Retail Merchandise Management in May 2014. I will also be available for styling and shopping advise at this time also. I currently have a internship with an up and coming jewelry designer Su Laing of Nail Veils.
Overall I'm looking forward to future collaborations and other fashion related opportunities within the industry. I will continue to express who I am as a individual through one creative style at a time.
