Floral Happiness : Sweet, Sweet Jamaica (pt6)

Good day loves,
I'm very grateful to see another day. Life is so precious,  and many times we become so consumed in our own trials, that we forget the true beauty of it. It's very important take a moment and give thanks for all that we already have. What are you grateful for? I'm grateful for God's grace, life itself,  and my family.
Lately,  my thoughts are consumed with the process of finding a job, and also the start of graduate school in a couple weeks. At times the job finding process weigh on me, because of lack of patience. A kind gentleman saw right through me while I was in a store. As he was cashing out my items, he asked "Are you coming from a interview? "  I answered,  "yes". He then asked, "how was it?". I explained to him I was overqualified for the position. He then proceeded to bless me with words, that I'm very sure was encouraged by the Lord.  God gave him that message to give to me. I strongly believe so! He said to have patience,  because the right job was within God's timing.  I so needed that...
It's important to keep the faith and remember there's a higher power working in you favor. So be happy!
People are just as happy as they make up their minds to be.”

Pastel Harmony:Sweet Sweet Jamaica (pt5)

Hello lovelies,
hope all is well in your neck of the woods! I'm back to continue with my vacation blogging. I felt free and expressive in my favorite country,  Jamaica.  I enjoyed my time spent with my family and I was indeed at peace.  This particular day these photos were taking,  we went to visit my husband's mother. It's very important to learn to cherish every moment spent with your family. After all family is life's riches.
This pastel blue skirt is channeling my inner bohiemian chic. The plates fall right back into place as it blows.  The crop top trend has ruled the summer and I feel it's staying for the fall as well. This tube top in particular can be wore by it self or under a blazer for a much classy look.

Festival of Food: Sweet, Sweet Jamaica (Pt 4)

Hello lovelies,
I'm not going to rant as normal! Just wanted to stop by and share with you about my favorite dish while on my vacation . When I was growing up, I was allergic to fresh fish. Whenever I ate it my lips swelled up and itched uncontrollably.  I once couldn't breath just by the smell alone. So now I'm happy to say, I've outgrown the allergy. This is a great thing, because my Jamaican culture includes amazing fish dishes. I was able to indulge this time around! Yes! I mean, mouthwatering fish dishes that makes you want to dance!
My family and I went out to eat at a restaurant, located in Portmore, St Catherine. The name of the restaurant is Jolly's. We end up ordering enough food to feed us twice! Needless to say we had lunch for the next day. I wasn't complaining... It was very tasty. Fish done three different ways (fried, brown stewed, & steamed) festival, bammi, steam vegetables and potato salad was on the menu, which equaled to a great night out.
